PROJECT UPDATE!

We are excited to announce the groundbreaking for Overley-Worman Park on Monday, March 8 at 11:30 am! Join Mayor Emily Styron, the Zionsville Parks and Recreation Department, the Parks Board and Town Council for a groundbreaking near the Godello Circle cul-de-sac in the Vonterra neighborhood (location of the Overley-Worman parking lot).

In the Spring of 2017, the Town of Zionsville, through their Park and Recreation Board, completed the master plan process for the new Overley-Worman Park.  The park will be located on land adjacent to Eagle Creek across from Starkey Nature Park behind the new Vonterra subdivision located on Zionsville Road.  The master plan process included an intensive 3-day workshop process along with additional public input meetings including a series of Park Board meetings.

The park amenities and layout were developed based on the public input that was gathered and responds to site conditions.  When complete the Overley-Worman Park will include the following features:

The Town is currently in the process of developing construction plans for the park which is planned for construction in 2021.  Check back to this website for project updates.
